TDI-BI honored Friday, October 26, 2007 as one of the fastest growing, Aggie-owned Businesses
“Aggie 100” honorees were formally recognized Friday during the third annual luncheon in The Zone Club at Texas A&M’s Kyle Field. The program, unique at the college level, is sponsored by Mays Business School’s Center for New Ventures and Entrepreneurship.
The Aggie 100 was created by Mays Business School’s Center for New Ventures and Entrepreneurship (CNVE), whose mission is to provide encouragement, education, networking and assistance to entrepreneurially-minded students, faculty and Texas businesses.
The “Aggie 100” are the 100 fastest-growing companies owned or operated by Texas A&M University graduates. They range from technology services to engineering to construction. Two of the top 10 companies are based outside the United States.
The “Aggie 100” focuses on growth as an indicator of job creation, product acceptance and entrepreneurial vision. This year’s recipients were selected based on compound annual revenue growth rate for the 2004 to 2006 period. This year, the cut-off point for making the top 100 was a 30 percent compound annual growth rate.
TDI-BI was ranked 43rd of the Aggie 100 based on their 2004-2006 record:
