The year 2020 marks the 16th Anniversary of “Aggie 100” honoring the 100 fastest growing Aggie-owned or -led businesses across the world. The McFerrin Center for Entrepreneurship announced the awards ceremony held on Friday, November 6, 2020 via Live-Stream.
Congratulations to the two founders of TDI-Brooks International, Inc. and world-renowned geochemists Dr. James Brooks (’75 Ph.D. graduate) and Dr. Bernie Bernard (’78 Ph.D. graduate) WHOOP! WHOOP!
The Aggie 100 fosters a network of leaders who inspire the next generation of Aggie entrepreneurs. While there are many ways to define business success, Aggie 100 uses growth rate as an indicator as it reflects a ventures capacity for job creation, product acceptance, and entrepreneurial vision. Nominated companies are ranked by percentage of compound annual growth in sales or revenues (net of returns), over a three-year period.
TDI-Brooks currently have 28 Aggies on staff and we were honored and excited to maintain a 50.318% growth rate annually over the past 2 years landing us at the #44 spot for the Aggie 100 award.
TDI-Brooks was formed in mid-1996 when both Jim and Bernie left their management positions with a research center at Texas A&M University. The corporate headquarters is situated on 100 acres in College Station, Texas. Here you will find their environmental, geochemical and geotechnical laboratories.
TDI-Brooks has proudly received the Aggie 100 award five times with our Laboratory affiliate B&B Labs previously receiving two awards.
Gig’Em, & God bless!
